    xPay as you go (PAYG) withholding is a system for withholding amounts from payments you make to employees and other businesses so they can meet their end-of-year tax liabilities.

    You will have withholding obligations if you:
    * are an employer, or
    * operate a business that has other workers, such as contract workers and you enter into voluntary agreements to withhold amounts from payments you make to them, or
    * make payments to other businesses that do not quote their Australian business number (ABN).

    If you make payments subject to withholding, you must:
    * register for PAYG withholding
    * withhold amounts from wages and other payments
    * lodge activity statements and make payments to us
    * provide payment summaries to workers
    * provide us with a PAYG withholding payment summary annual report..

    Fuel Tax Credit

    xFuel tax credits provide you with a credit for the fuel tax (excise or customs duty) included in the price of fuel you use in: business activities machinery plant equipment heavy vehicles. The only fuels that are not eligible are: aviation fuels fuels you use in light vehicles of 4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass (GVM) or less, travelling on a public road fuel you acquired but did not use because it was lost, stolen or otherwise disposed of some alternative fuels. In order to apply for a Fuel Tax Credit you need to be registered for GST.

    Luxury Car Tax
